A visionary leader and a workforce development strategist, Lloyd, is the President and CEO of Servicio Filipino, Inc. (SFI), the flagship company of the SFI Group – an HR conglomerate with 10 subsidiaries that specialize in human capital, search, recruitment, and placement, specialized managed services, competency assessments, workforce management solutions, HR consultancy and talent supply chain management. From the time he joined Servicio Filipino, he executed the expansion and promoted growth in diverse facets of HR for the company which covers most of the regions nationwide through a combined network of 20 offices managing around ten thousand people across different industries.
In 1998, Lloyd brought the Singaporean recruitment and staffing franchise BusinessTrends into the Philippine market which is now owned by global staffing company Kelly Services. Moreover, he helped SFI launch its Comprehensive Business Services franchise from the US – an accounting and management consulting franchise. In 2000, Lloyd together with several partners opened and managed Vertex, one of the first technical BPO start-ups in the Philippines.This company grew to more than 1,200 full-time employees and was later sold to Alorica of America in 2008.Seven years ago, Mr. Anastacio also launched the very first privately owned first full service career development center called SFI CareerCenter. Apart from offering career and competency assessments, the CareerCenter has introduced career training and development, professional certifications, apprenticeships, career coaching and career development services to students, the unemployed ready to enter the workplace and professionals empowering them for growth. Lloyd also sits in the Board of SFI Group’s subsidiaries and holds executive positions in SFI International, SFI Professional and Technical Recruitment and HeadStart Realty Corporation. He recently invested into Information Technology companies –TalentSource and WerQ Global Solutions, and serves at the Board level as Chairman.
With more than 20 years of work experience in the human resources industry, Lloyd has undergone extensive trainings in career coaching, targeted sourcing and recruitment, strategic organizational leadership, quality management and corporate governance. His passion is really in PEOPLE which is why he is in the forefront of Servicio Filipino and SFI Group’s talent development and leadership training initiatives. He has also led Servicio Filipino into becoming the very first company in the Philippines to achieve Investors in People (IiP) Gold Certification on its very first try. Apart from spearheading quality initiatives like the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification for the organization, Mr. Anastacio has enrolled Servicio Filipino, Inc. (SFI) in the Incentivizing Compliance Program (ICP) of the Department of Labor and Employment where SFI was awarded the Certificate of Compliance on General Labor Standards and Occupational Health and Safety Standards, the Tripartite Certificate of Compliance with Labor Standards (TCCLS), and the Child Labor Free Establishment (CLFE) Certification. Now, SFI is aiming to be the first HR organization to receive the Department of Labor and Employment’s highly coveted Secretary’s Award for organizations.
Under his leadership, the SFI Group ventured into various market segments and established a network of international partnerships with global organizations like Kelly Services, HireLabs, ACT, Success Partners, Auralog andSerebra Corporationand Pearson Education. Lloyd has initiated in building relationships with a multitude of academic institutions, professional organizations, and government agencies. More importantly, he has created the advocacy framework for education and workforce development for the SFI Group. Through this advocacy, Lloyd was able to work with the international partners to provide grants for the Philippine Government. Programs such as the Philippine TalentMap Initiative which are now partnered with Academe, Employer Groups, TESDA and more aims to create a complete labor force picture of the Philippines in terms of the 21st Century Skills. SFI Group’s first every Public-Private Partnership with DOLE to manage and build the PhilJobNet – the official Job and Labor Market Information Portal of the Philippines. Career Readiness and Employability Skills Initiative in the Province of Bataan, even DOLE’s JobStart Program through its Learning to Earning Apprenticeship and PTMI. Given his passion in people, Lloyd has proven to be one of the top resource speakers for the Department of Labor and Employment.
Lloyd earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the Ateneo De Manila University. In 1992, he received a scholarship grant from the Philippine Institute of Japanese Language and Culture(PIJLC) and pursued further studies in Japan at Kokusai Gakuyukai Japanese language school under the Ambassador Jose Laurel III and Japan Solidarity Committee for Asian Alumni (JASCAA) scholarship grant in 1993. He continued his studies as a research student in the Master’s Program of Sophia University’s Economics Department in Tokyo, Japan with a specialization in organizational theory and management.
He has consistently been a resource speaker on Workforce and Human Capital Development in different conferences and forums. He has presented and spoken at the 37th APEC- Human Resource Development Working Group Conference in Boracay, the World Association of Public Employment Services Conference in Tagaytay, the 5th National Education Forum (NEF) of PCCI & Export Development Council in Makati, the 14th National PESO Congress in General Santos, the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO) HR Forum in Tagaytay, and the recent Employer’s Confederation of the Philippines’ 37th National Congress of Employers in Pasay City.
