Danielle Marie I. Cruz, M.A., R.G.C.

Senior Program Officer and Career Coach

Dane finished her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and her Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling at the University of Santo Tomas in 2006 and in 2013, respectively. She completed her Master’s Degree with the research entitled, “Personality Traits, Work Values, and Expected Career Outcomes as Bases for School-to-Work Career Transition Program.” She earned her license as a guidance counselor when she took the board examinations in 2013. She was also the Top 3 when she made it as one of the board exam topnotchers. After she took the board exams, she became a review facilitator for board exams of guidance counselors where she handled the subject Career Guidance. Professionally, she is affiliated with Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association (PGCA), and Philippine Association for Counselor Education, Research and Supervision (PACERS). She worked as a guidance counselor at University of Santo Tomas from 2012 to 2018. She handled several colleges, the Faculty of Arts and Letters, College of Education and, Conservatory of Music. She was one of the counselors who were trained by United States Agency for International Development-Science Technology Research and Innovation (USAID-STRIDE) during the consultative visit as part of the initial endeavor in putting up a career center in the university.

Furthermore, she was a member of Career Development and Training Team as one of the career coordinators, and as linkage officer of Students’ Career Placement and Industry Partnership, for several years. She also headed several committees, the Career Ambassadors’ Program and the Peer Facilitators Program. Currently, she is working at SFI Career Canter as Senior Program Officer and Career Coach.
